Software Tester

CEVA eCommerce Logistics is an ecommerce and omnichannel partner for big and well-known brands. We support them to expand their businesses and to adapt quickly to market changes, demand or seasonality by designing fitting solutions and implementing them. For example, we can help with return solutions, last-mile deliveries and cross-border ecommerce – for air, rail, ground and ocean transport. As a Software Tester, you’ll be responsible for testing all our software to make sure it runs as smoothly as possible. You work in several teams and will be involved in all phases in the testing process (from start until delivery). You maintain, monitor and establish different test methodologies and coordinate with your manager, colleagues and stakeholders. In the design phase of the software, you’ll be involved in the approach and implementation of the different test scenarios. You prepare all the tests by creating a plan and make sure the quality is top-notch. In this Software Tester role, you work closely with our developers and IT business analysts. Regular contact with one of our (international) customers is also part of your job. Besides that, you’ll work on drafting procedures and best practices regarding possible tests, and identify bottlenecks, risks and opportunities. You create specific scripts, procedures, testing environments and preconditions as well.
