ParaPy is growing its development team and looking for a Python developer. We are looking for someone for whom Python holds little secrets and enjoys creating a software platform to automate engineering processes. Jouw rol
• Contribute to the ParaPy SDK including our signature Knowledge Based Engineering language and continually evolving libraries for geometric and computational modeling, allowing engineers to quickly make smart engineering apps.
• Make the ParaPy Cloud even more accessible and enable engineers to quickly make web apps and deploy these to the cloud.
• Develop new technologies like our Single Source of Truth and Workflow products, drastically innovating the way in which engineering enterprises collaborate in their processes.
Jouw profiel
• An M.Sc. in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
• 2 years of professional experience in writing Python code as part of your job
• The ability to architect applications from the grounds up
• Skills to translate software requirements into possible technical implementation plans

At ParaPy we believe that the future engineer creates smart software applications that automate routine work, freeing up time to explore more design ideas, optimize and innovate. We are developing a software platform that enables engineers to create, integrate and deploy such applications without needing a degree in Computer Science. Engineers use our signature Knowledge-Based Engineering language to capture design intent and various automation toolboxes to accelerate time-consuming human-computer interactions like 3D modelling, simulation, and pre- / post-processing thereof. ParaPy is used nowadays to radically accelerate design processes for a vast range of products like aircraft, ships, offshore structures, factories, and buildings.
