As a Back-End Developer at Verne Health, you will play a vital role in shaping and optimizing our software solutions. You’ll work on building robust, scalable systems and collaborate closely with front-end developers, product managers, and external partners. This full-time role is hybrid, with flexible remote work options and an office in Amersfoort.

We are looking for a dedicated Back-End Developer with a strong passion for technology and healthcare.
- Design, develop, and maintain APIs and back-end functionalities using Laravel.
- Optimize databases and application performance with MySQL.
- Collaborate with front-end teams to create seamless user experiences.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in production environments.
- Participate in architectural decisions and conduct code reviews.
- Document technical processes and solutions.
Jouw profiel
- At least 3 years of experience in back-end development.
- Proficiency in Laravel, MySQL, and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
- Experience in building and maintaining RESTful APIs.
- Understanding of front-end principles and collaboration with front-end teams.
- Familiarity with tools like Git, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or similar deployment tools.
- Interest in or experience within the healthcare sector.
