As Junior IT Manager at Hit Rail you will be working in a team responsible of Hit Rail’s IT SaaS applications for the European railway sector. You will be assisting in the delivery, operation and maintenance of IT services to Hit Rail’s customers while working with a team that provides first and second level support of those services.
As Junior IT Manager you will be liaising with customers and team members towards the resolution of technical faults and customer requests. Other duties you will have are:
- Monitor and maintain the operation of mission-critical IT services.
- Assist in the design, development and implementation of new applications and IT services.
- Liaise with networking, cloud platform and programming teams
- Make recommendations for cloud IT service enhancements.
- Maintain technical documents and procedures.
Jouw profiel
You at least have a bachelor’s degree in computer or IT Engineering. One or more years of experience in an IT management position - preferably for a European railway or transportation company.
You are passionate about IT and have a great curiosity and good understanding of IT technologies. Because you will work in an international company, it is important for you to be proficient in English. Any other language - especially French and German - are desirable. Moreover, you would describe yourself as:
- self-organizing, flexible, analytical, good at problem solving,
- able to implement according to plan,
- good in communication and customer orientation,
- great in time management, multi-tasking,
- a team player
- EU residence/work permit is a must
