Stokota is a forward-thinking company specializing in transportation and logistics solutions. Their fleet includes tank trucks for oil delivery, environmental cleanup, aircraft refueling, and bulk transport.
Established in Belgium in 1963, Stokota initially focused on producing underground fuel tanks for domestic heating oil, hence the name "STOKOTA" derived from the Dutch word "STOOKOLIETANKS". Rapid expansion led to the development of high-quality welded storage tanks. By 1967, they had ventured into manufacturing road tankers, quickly becoming a leading specialist in the Benelux region.
For Stokota, the nineties were characterized by the diversification into environmental vehicles such as vacuum tank units and combination units for waste transport and industrial and city cleaning. There was a stronger focus on the export market.
Later on, Stokota’s growth was further enhanced by strategic acquisitions and the establishment of new branches. In 1996, their first Polish branch opened in Kielce, followed by the acquisition of competitor EKW in 1998, expanding their portfolio to include special trailers.
Further expansion occurred in 2000 with the acquisition of CIME in Raismes (France) and the establishment of a second production plant in Elblag (Poland) in 2001. Despite geographical diversity, Stokota has successfully integrated its manufacturing plants into a cohesive philosophy, ensuring high-quality products and excellent after-sales service.
This commitment resulted in a strong market position across both East and West European markets for tankers, as well as innovation in environmental vehicle construction, including hydraulically steered and extendable trailers.
In 2014, they streamlined their product portfolio, discontinuing the Building & Logistics division in favor of launching the Walking Floors division, offering trailers with movable slats for efficient loading and unloading of bulk goods.
Building on their expertise in fuel tankers and following a significant contract win in military aircraft refueling, they established the Stokota Aviation Fuelling Vehicles division in 2016. This division focuses on aircraft refueling vehicles, hydrant carts, pit cleaner and flusher combinations, and other ground support equipment.
Today, Stokota operates across Europe, Africa and the Middle East, serving various sectors including public roads, airports and industrial sites.
At Stokota, they are continuously evolving, seeking new opportunities, improving efficiency and delivering value to their customers, products and team members. Whether you're interested in engineering, sales, finance or construction, there's a place for you at Stokota.
You can find Stokota in Lokeren, Belgium, and in Elblag, Poland.
