With the world’s population ever increasing and the depletion of our natural resources, the world is in need for energy efficient and environmentally friendly means of transportation to fulfill the basic need of mobility. 2getthere’s automated transit systems fit the bill, providing efficient, high-quality transit systems for point-to-point connections, corridors and networks.

2getthere’s first APM system was developed in 1995. Pilot projects were realized at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (1997) and business park Rivium (1999). The extended Rivium system was equipped with 2nd generation GRT vehicles in 2006, and is still operational today. In 2002 the temporary Floriade application was realized, featuring 4-passenger vehicles. The first permanent PRT system, at Masdar City (Abu Dhabi) opened to the general public on November 28th 2010.

The vehicles have been internationally recognised for their iconic design. Intelligence is built into our systems by the vehicle and fleet control software as well as the sensory perception software, all of which is developed in our Utrecht head office.
